Ravindra Shetty

Ravindra Shetty or known as Ravi Shetty comes from a family of artists. Being a classically trained bharathanatyam exponent himself, it was on natural for him to learn how to beautify a production, be it the lights or sound.

Ravi has been involved with the inception of Temple of Fine Arts, the non profit organization that promotes Indian art forms in Kuala Lumpur from 1987. With the group, he has both participated in dance, music and sound productions for plays like Swan Lake, Mahsuri, Lady White Snake just to name a few. He toured with Temple of Fine Arts internationally.

Focusing his capabilities, he ventured in sound and lights specifically with the inception of Hansa Sound and Lights in 1995. His professionalism and capabilities saw him rise to ranks as a sought after sound and lights engineer for major productions both local and abroad. Some of the artists that he has worked with include The Instant Café Theatre, Kompleks Budaya Negara, KRE Arts Dance Theatre on the theatre front. He has also been involved with esteemed musicians in concerts, e.g. Bonny M, David Gomez, ReshMonu, Samuel J Dass, Innuendo just to name a few.

Currently as the official Sound and Lights engineer for AkashA, Ravi has toured with AkashA all over the globe. His keen eye and ear has lent AkashA kudos all around.
